WHAT IS HOMEOPATHY ?
Homeopathic remedies are natural substances specially prepared in micro-doses to stimulate the body's own sophisticated mechanisms for resolving imbalance and restoring health . Homeopathy is a scientific system of healing with 200 years of proven clinical effectiveness, based on the principle that any substance which is capable of producing symptoms in a healthy person, will cure those same symptoms in a sick person.

WHAT CAN BE TREATED?
Because homeopathic medicines are prescribed based on physical, mental and emotional symptoms, they can be applied to almost any acute or chronic illness, and the remedies are gentle enough to be taken by newborn infants, pregnant women, during breastfeeding and at all other ages, so they can be used at any stage of life.

Among the many conditions that Homeopaths routinely treat are: colds and flus, asthma, allergies, skin conditions including eczema and psoriasis, digestive problems, menstrual problems, headaches, back and muscular pains and the symptoms of mental and emotional stress.

QUALIFICATIONS
Sherryn holds an Advanced Diploma of Homeopathy, she is professionally registered with the Australian Register of Homeopaths and is on the Executive Committee of the Australian Homeopathic Association. Rebates can be claimed under extras cover for Sherryn's homeopathic consultations from most Private Health Funds .

HOMEOPATHIC CONSULTATIONS
So that your homeopathic prescriptions can be individualised to meet your specific needs, your first consultation will take up to 90 minutes to allow us time to cover all aspects of your current condition and health history.

Follow-up appointments will be scheduled according to your individual needs and are usually of 30-60 minutes duration. Chronic conditions are likely to require medium to long term treatment, whereas more superficial or acute illnesses typically resolve more quickly.

A homeopathic remedy will be prescribed for you, either at the end of each consultation or in the days immediately following, and will be accompanied by instructions on how to take your remedy.
